Another Poem

Another time, another place,
Another's story, another's face.
The names alone changing
The roles forever same.

Another life, another chance,
Another shot at love.
The promises too demanding,
The wait eternal, too long.

Another day bites the dust,
Another night in tears.
Fear and me nestled in bed together,
Comfort long gone, long gone.
