To Two Lost Souls

To two lost souls
Who on a frozen lake
Spent the night staring
At stars when awake.

To the same lost souls
Who on a trip to the beach
Found the hands they were
Always trying to reach.

To those very lost souls
Who unwittingly choose
To let triflings and others
Cause them the blues.

To my lost soul
Which has found its mate
A reminder that
All is done by fate.

From now on
I will be to blame
If starry nights
Don't stay the same.

To those lost souls,
And the promises they make
A wish that
Love forever stays the same.
