Got up thinking of the Friedhof Der Namenlosen or the Cemetery of the Nameless. Not out of sadness but just. I need to visit Vienna. In two years maybe? In three, I go to South Africa for the Big Five Marathon. I read it being dubbed the Limpopo Marathon on some site and decided to follow through cos of the attachment to McCall Smith's books and Limpopo.
Since I haven't been able to lay my hands on any of the 44 Scotland Street books (McCall Smith again), I settled for Maupin's Tales of The City - nothing strikes my fancy so far except the kitschy-ness of it all but San Fran wouldn't be a bad city to move to post graduation. No winters - most important criterion met!
Minor celebration - Finally found a copy of The Big Over Easy and half-way through it. I know how it ends though, so I've been dragging my feet in completing it. This is why I hate reading books (from a series) out of order - have already read The Fourth Bear. Anyone reading who wants to gift me a book, contact me and find out which books I am missing from The No. 1 Ladies... series.
Major celebration (?) - graduation. Not entirely sure. Check back in a few years.
