Sherlock Holmes

Yesterday while watching Sherlock Holmes with the _ I mentioned how my dream guy has the mind of Sherlock Holmes in George Clooney's body. The _ promptly assumed that he has those qualities or at least some semblance of them.

The movie was the super-est, awesome-st movie based on a book I have ever seen. Jude Law as Watson was brilliant and so much like what I had imagined Watson to be. Robert Downey Jr was every bit as quirky as I had always dreamed Holmes would be, only a little vertically challenged. Adding shades of grey to Irene Adler was bluddy brilliant. The only letdown was Lestrade being depicted as a dimwit.

Despite all this razzle-dazzle and my sleep-deprived state, my mind was thinking of neither movie nor sleep but the rapidity with which the last 8 hours had passed and how unfortunate it was that the movie and night couldn't last longer. As the night progressed I was more and more distracted from Holmes' stunning persona largely because I was contemplating how unfair it was that I bedeprived of the _'s company.

The _, if you're reading - you should be flattered, you had my attention more than Sherlock Holmes. On an even happier note, the _ says that he has been the _ for 3 years and 4 months now. Yay us! Celebration required.
