Back in Chicago after an excellent trip to California. Definitely fell in love with SF; just as MRL had predicted. (hated the ride back from the airport)
I have the answer to what I want to be when I grow up. "Anonymous," she said, "for he writes a lot of good poetry." Thought of this too late, would have made the waiter at my graduation party smile otherwise.
Wondering if this college classmate had it correctly figured out when he said, "It's scary to have dreams, what if they don't come true." He has most likely forgotten about said statement but it still annoys me around the time of my birthday, year after every disappointing year.
All the back and forth of the last month reminds me of Pinter's The Lover and a troubled conversation had after reading it. Charades.
Commitment reminds me of Salman Khan and the movies. Probably same is the case for a billion other people. More charades.
Besides all the already mentioned wondering, currently also wondering if forever is poet speak for too long. Squirrel or Ant and Grasshopper kinda question. Yet more charades.
