As always. Spent a very pleasurable evening at Barnes & Noble in the company of cookbooks for a change. Bought the most wonderful volume on vegetarian cooking. I want to undertake an experiment similar to Julie Powell's and cook every single recipe in the book along with the tips, tricks and recipes from the almost forgotten other tome I have on vegetarian cooking. But that is not the getting ahead I refer to - I want to spend the next few weeks marking up the book, making notes to myself and starting on the recipes I can. The SK Mess (blog) is dead, Long live The SK Mess (label).
P.S. I am beyond thrilled at the thought of using post-it notes, highlighters and bookmarks. *doing a happy jig now* Merits a photo-op
Do you sense the excitement through two different sizes of post-it notes in three colors each and four bookmarks? Not to mention the one handy notepad?
