Tagged..yet again!!

And this time it is about books. The second thing I can go on about, after myself that is. :) By the end of the post if anyone's looking for the culprit who tagged me..spare The Solitary Reaper.

One Book that Changed my life: Really hard to pick one book..think I took away something from each book I read. But the first book to really change my life would be 'Little Women', it sorta makes the person I am today. Can't leave out 'Fist of God' by Frederick Forsyth though..that's why I am pursuing engineering.

One Book I have read more than once: One book???
I still cry every time Bethy dies in Little Women or Magwitch in Great Expectations, fall in love with idea of love every time I read about Mr Bhaer and Jo sloshing arm in arm through puddles (trust me..beats walking arm in arm with a female friend any day!!). Guess again it's gotta be Little Women. But why stop there? Harry Potter (any one), Eleven Minutes, Great Expectations, Arabian Nights, Sherlock Holmes short stories..it goes on and on.


One book you would want on a deserted island: Good question..has to be Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy and of course a diary to write in. (naming everything.. just to be safe)

One book that made you laugh: Little Women, portions of Harry Potter, Wodehouse, Calvin and Hobbes, Asterix, The Inscrutable Americans and the Hindi novel we read as a part of the curriculum in tenth grade..why? 'Cos the language was just so wrong. :)

One book that made you cry: *Sigh!* If only there was one such book. But the latest one to make me cry was 'Five people you meet in Heaven'. Awesome book..loved the idea of heaven it potrays.

One book you wish had been written: 'Mom's Warnings: A ready Reckoner' Not only would that ensure lesser phone bills but also leave me with fewer regrets. If only I had listened. ;)

One book you wish had never been written: 'Lady Chatterley's Lover' by I forget who. That left me really depressed and absolutely certain I am always gonna have very troubled relationships..no fairy-tale romance for me. :(

One book you are currently reading: 'Offshore Pipelines' by some four authors whose names I keep forgetting..damn!! That's for my BTP. Others happen to be 'Finite Element Method made simple' and 'Letters to a young novelist'..await my book people.

One book you have been meaning to read: Again..loads..but bro's been pestering me to read 'The Google Story'..so I guess that one.
